Microhatchery - $500

We are Algonquin Road Public School and we would like support for our School-Based, Self-Contained, Micro-Hatchery.  The Micro-Hatchery involves students from Kindergarten through to Grade 8.  Students care for Walleye and Brook Trout eggs and fry, study and document their growth and water conditions, and the fish stock two local lakes.  Students develop a sense of environmental stewardship by being involved with the project.  The hope is, as adults, these students will see value in careers and volunteer work that involves protecting and maintaining our environment.

Due to a time conflict, they were unable to attend the Project Impact Community Celebration. Therefore we do not have a video available for this project.
